Terms of Service

Repointed - Terms of Service Effective Date: [28/04/2025] Welcome to Repointed ("we", "our", "us"). Repointed is an online platform facilitating peer-to-peer buying and selling of new and second-hand darts equipment. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use Repointed.

  1. About Repointed Repointed provides an online venue where users can create listings to sell darts equipment and where buyers can browse and purchase such items. We do not own, sell, resell, provide, control, or inspect any of the items listed through the platform. We are not a party to the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. Deliveries and exchanges are arranged directly between users.

  2. Eligibility • You must be at least 18 years old to use Repointed. • By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

  3. User Accounts • You must create an account to access buying or selling features. • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.

  4. Buying and Selling • Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their listings, including descriptions, conditions, and pricing. • Buyers are responsible for reviewing listings carefully before purchasing. • Transactions, including any returns or refunds, are solely between users. • Sellers must ensure they have the right to sell the listed items and that the sale complies with all applicable laws.

  5. Payments • Payments are processed securely through Stripe, an independent third-party service. • We do not collect, hold, or process any payment information ourselves. • Users are subject to Stripe’s separate terms and conditions.

  6. Delivery and Collection • Delivery or collection arrangements are made directly between buyer and seller. • Repointed does not provide delivery services or guarantee delivery or condition of items. • Users are responsible for agreeing on delivery terms, including method, timing, costs, and responsibility for loss or damage during transit. • Sellers are required to dispatch items within 3 business days of receiving payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the buyer. • Sellers are encouraged to use tracked shipping methods and provide buyers with tracking information where possible.

  7. Items Sold "As Is" • Items are sold by users on an "as is" basis. • Repointed does not physically inspect, test, authenticate, or guarantee any items. • While we may review listings for compliance with our platform rules before they are published, this review is limited and does not involve verifying the quality, condition, legality, or authenticity of any items. • Buyers accept that items may be used and may have wear or defects.

  8. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations • Repointed is not responsible for any returns, refunds, or cancellations. • Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for agreeing on and handling any return, refund, or cancellation directly between themselves. • Buyers acknowledge that purchases from individual sellers generally do not carry the same statutory consumer rights as purchases from professional traders.

  9. Fees • Repointed may charge service fees, commission fees, or other applicable charges for the use of the platform. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed to users at the time of listing an item, purchasing an item, or otherwise engaging with fee-based services. Repointed reserves the right to change its fees from time to time. Changes to fees will be communicated in advance and will not apply retroactively to transactions already completed.

  10. Prohibited Items • Only darts equipment and directly related accessories may be listed. • You may not list or sell any illegal, counterfeit, dangerous, stolen, or otherwise prohibited goods.

  11. User Conduct You agree: • To comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • Not to infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of others. • Not to engage in fraud, misrepresentation, or deceptive practices. • Not to post false, misleading, or defamatory content. • Not to attempt to interfere with or disrupt Repointed’s platform or systems.

  12. Account Suspension or Termination • We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account at any time, at our sole discretion, particularly if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activities, or otherwise misuse the platform. • We reserve the right to remove listings or content that violate these Terms or applicable laws without notice.

  13. Third-Party Services • Repointed may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as Stripe for payments). • We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or accuracy of any third-party services.

  14. Limitation of Liability • Repointed provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. • We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the availability, quality, legality, or safety of items sold, or the ability of sellers to sell or buyers to pay. • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Repointed is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the platform or any transactions between users.

  15. Indemnity You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Repointed, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform or your violation of these Terms.

  16. Force Majeure We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, power outages, internet service disruptions, strikes, war, or government actions.

  17. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal obligations. We will notify users of any material changes. Continued use of Repointed after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

  18. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform.
